Are you ready to begin your journey?

Let’s take this walk together

how we can work together

To be sure my services are the best fit for you, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation.

I am an in-network provider with Tricare West, UnitedHealthcare (United Behavioral Health), and Aetna. As a preferred provider, I can offer services with a smaller copay.

Have other insurance? Not a problem, I am happy to provide you with the information needed to file with your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check your out-of-network insurance policy as many insurance companies will reimburse a good percentage of what you paid for therapy.

The process of living is like taking a very long road trip. The destination may be important, but the journey experienced day to day and week to week is what is invaluable.

You’re in the right place

You’re wondering why you haven’t been able to tackle this on your own

You’re the kind of person who usually has a “get it done” attitude. You appreciate that your mindset has helped you to accomplish great things, but you still can’t help feeling like something is wrong. You find yourself constantly in your head, thinking the same things over and over. You’re not sure if something is missing, or if you’re just “not enough” to have the kind of life and relationships you want. When you work up the courage to share these fears, people keep saying stuff like “you worry too much, you’re fine” or “have you tried not thinking that way?”

It’s possible to not be so wrapped up in the internal battle you are facing. You can start moving towards what actually matters.

 SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

  • I currently only work with clients on an individual basis.

  • Not at this time. Offering sessions online allows me to meet my clients where they are - literally. You can engage in counseling anywhere you have a good internet connection and privacy. Additionally, telehealth counseling has been shown in a number of studies to be equally as effective as face to face counseling. Many of my clients have preferred the convenience and accessibility of telehealth, even when offered in-person options.

  • Most sessions start with checking in - discussing the week’s challenges, reviewing your efforts to work on treatment targets, and acknowledging your wins. We then set the agenda - what is it you’d like to focus on this week? Luckily, we will have completed a treatment plan together so you will have a number of options to choose from. After working through agenda items, we end by summarizing your takeaways, and discussing what you would like to work on in-between sessions.

  • Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not attend your scheduled therapy appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a fee of $100. If you cannot make your appointment, please call with advanced notice, and I will be happy to reschedule.

  • I do! I tend to work with teens ages 15 and older. I am happy to provide a note if they will be missing school time to attend a session.

  • Unfortunately, I am not able to bill Medicaid (Connect for Health Colorado) or Medicare at this time. Insurance laws and regulations also prevent therapists from billing patients with Medicaid at a self-pay rate. If you are looking for a mental health provider, feel free to utilize these resources: Medicaid Provider Directory or Medicare Provider Directory.
